AMTANK Armor’s Heritage

American Tank & Fabricating Company (AT&F) was founded in 1940 by John J. Ripich.  Now in its 4th generation of Ripich family leadership, the company continues to provide fabricated steel products to companies around the globe using some of the largest and most powerful equipment in the world.  AT&F is a quality armor material processor and manufacturer, having worked with many OEMs, Tier I and Tier II suppliers to the Department of Defense.  AT&F is a TACOM  qualified supplier.

Composhield A/S develops and qualifies material solutions against blast, ballistic impacts, and other hostile actions.  Armed with the newest and most reliable composite material technologies and strong research and development, Composhield has developed armor material solutions for a number of joint projects with top international universities.  Composhield controls a unique and patented composite material technology, achieving armoring products capable of resisting extreme dynamic loads from ballistic and blast impacts.  Composhield, located in Lystrup, Denmark and founded in 2000, currently holds several patented and certified technologies.
